Mark Ireland is the author of two books, Soul Shift: Finding Where the Dead Go and The Persistence of the Soul, chronicling his personal search for answers to what comes after life on Earth. Although his father was Richard Ireland, a celebrity psychic of the mid-twentieth century, Mark was not particularly interested in life after death studies until his younger son suddenly passed at age 18. Mark cofounded and serves as chairman of the board for Helping Parents Heal, a nearly 40,000-member global non-profit organization that assists grieving parents. He has also participated in mediumship research with the University of Arizona and the University of Virginia.
